Dark Slope, a leader in virtual production and home to one of the largest virtual production studios in North America, is proud to announce its new collaboration with Humber Polytechnic as an official partner of the new Virtual Production Graduate Certificate. This collaboration will integrate hands-on virtual production experience into the Humber Polytechnic curriculum, providing students with unparalleled access to industry-leading technology and expertise.
As part of this collaboration, Dark Slope will support a series of educational sessions at their state-of-the-art virtual production studio. These sessions will be an integral component of Humber’s curriculum, offering students a unique opportunity to learn how to produce film and television content on an LED wall for every genre and price point. The partnership is designed to give students hands-on experience in the rapidly evolving field of virtual production, with a focus on the practical application of skills needed to succeed in today’s media landscape.
The educational sessions will cover a range of topics, including the technical and creative aspects of virtual production, and will highlight how various production roles contribute to bringing virtual productions to life. The Dark Slope team will lead these sessions, providing both leadership and mentorship to students. Additionally, Dark Slope will deliver guest presentations at Humber Polytechnic, further enriching the learning experience with insights from industry professionals.
